Perhaps you’re wondering where the brand name came from or what it means. Let me explain.
My name is Jennifer Kaohumakekahakai Hensler. My grandpa was Filipino, and my mother was born and raised in Hawaii—hence the name that took me 10 years to learn to spell. It means “mist of the ocean.” This name holds deep meaning for me, and I felt there was no better choice for these products I love so much. Of course, I couldn’t use all 16 letters, so I shortened it, but the meaning remains the same.
